1. Company Information
Jesmond Loft Conversions operates from Jesmond, Newcastle. Registered in England and Wales.
2. Quotes & Estimates
All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on the information provided during the site survey. Any additional works identified during construction will be communicated and agreed in writing before proceeding.
3. Contracts
All work is carried out under a written contract signed by both parties. No work commences until a contract is agreed and a deposit paid. Our standard contract follows the RIBA or JCT Minor Works form.
4. Payment Terms
A deposit is required upon contract signing. Stage payments are made at agreed milestones during construction. Final payment is due upon completion and handover. All prices include VAT at the current rate.
5. Guarantee
All structural work carries a 10-year guarantee. This is backed by our public liability insurance (£5M cover). Guarantees are transferable to new owners if the property is sold.
6. Planning & Regulations
We advise on planning requirements but ultimate responsibility for obtaining any required consents lies with the property owner. We manage the Building Regulations application as part of our standard service.
